Does anyone have any experience with the firing pin not hitting the center of the primer and does this effect accuracy?
I sent a 270 back to the factory since the only thing I could get was minute of barn side accuracy. They did some work along with a trigger job and fitted it for a 3006 Ultra Comp.
Anyway, they did not send any documentation as to was wrong and what they did to fix the problem. I did mention it to them about the center alignment, but examiningg the spent cartridges today they hit in the same place as before.
The best group for 3 rounds was about 3inches, 5 rounds about 4 1/2 and 6 rounds about 6.
therefore, can this be the worm that is effecting accuracy?
