What model????
« on: May 19, 2005, 04:24:17 AM »
I recently purchased a Taurus 22mag revolver. There is no model # that I can see anywhere.  It has an 8 round cylender, blued with a 4in. barrel, wood grips, and ajustable rear sight. It says 22 Magnum on the barrel.
I don't guess it matters, but was just wondering if there is a model # for it.
Thanks Charlie

olred,  Yep, 941B4. It looks like the new ones only come with rubber grips. Too bad cause I really like the wood ones on mine. It looks better (IMO) and recoil really isn't an issue with this caliber.
Thanks for the help. Charlie

Charlie, if you haven't already, read the product reviews on  their website on your gun and don't miss the one on the 22 mag snubnose. I'm new to Taurus too, got an old 94 and am havin a ball with it.  olred

Now that I know what model my pistol is, my next question is does anyone know of a holster that fits the 941? I am looking for a leather hunting type. Preferably one that covers the trigger. I'm not much of a pistol buff so do not know if there is a comperable pistol frame that matches Taures. Like S&W or Colt ?????
Any ideas?  Thanks Charlie
