I had the opportunity to play with a 6.8spc 15" foxridge barrel on May 5th.  This was basically a fireforming session and I was shooting a few other new barrels for the first time.  Just from initial results, the reformed 30 rem's were shooting better than the real 6.8 rem spc brass.  The 6.8spc's were once fired brass from an AR 15, so hard to tell what will happen once they are loaded again.  The 6.8 rem brass is supposed to be a little thicker, but the 30 rem were very easy to form.  Overall 1st impressions were good, just had a 2.5 t/c scope and hard to tell what the accuracy was like.  Basically, trying to get some cases preped for the serious work and then we'll try putting a 3x9 burris for the accuracy and chrony work.  Was also shooting my new 17 hmr 16 & 1/4 fox ridge barrel.  VERY NICE!!  Sub 1" groups most of the time.  Fun to shoot.  My problem is just not enough time..... Will keep posted.
