Agustin Sanchez retains his title as THE King of High Power Rifle Silhouette!
The kid shot a record score of 111 in Standard Rifle to take top honors, and shot a 98 in Hunter Rifle (we had windy afternoons) to earn the Champion's crown.

The breakdown of daily matches is as follows:

Day 1 Standard Rifle:________________Day 1 Hunter Rifle:

1st - Agustin Sanchez - 39.....................1st - Bill Zander - 30  s/o
2nd - Tony Tello - 33 s/o.......................2nd - Agustin Sanchez - 30
3rd - Joy Cox - 33.................................3rd - Lee O'Neil - 28

Day 2 Standard Rifle:________________Day 2 Hunter Rifle:

1st - Agustin Sanchez - 36......................1st - Agustin Sanchez - 36
2nd - Mark Pharr - 30.............................2nd - Bill Zander - 31
3rd - G. Call - 29....................................3rd - Joy Cox - 28

Day 3 Standard Rifle__________________Day 3 Hunter Rifle

1st - Agustin Sanchez - 36........................1st - Eric Boos - 32 s/o
2nd - Bill Zander - 32...............................2nd - Agustin Sanchez - 32
3rd - Bill Motl - 32....................................3rd - Carl Barber - 30

Aggregate Scores, Standard:___________Aggregate Scores, Hunter:

1st - Agustin Sanchez - 111.......................1st - Agustin Sanchez - 98
2nd - Mark Pharr - 90...............................2nd - Bill Zander - 89
3rd - Troy Lawton - 88..............................3rd - Eric Boos - 80

Agustin, this down-to-earth young man with a shy sense of humor has now won three years in a row and set new records. He has earned our recognition as the top shooter in our sport.

Many thanks to all of you who made it to Phoenix to shoot and enjoy our warm climate  8).  We hope to see all those of you who could not make it this time around in 2 or 3 years. Come out and enjoy the sunshine!

Best wishes,

Joaquin Bustamante, AKA,

Thx for the information.

LOVE to attend a nationals in PHX...may I suggest October or November -- possibly January! -- for scheduling? :)

(I might very well wind up in Hell -- it's been suggested to me by a number of people -- but I'm not going there voluntarily just to shoot silhouettes!)  :-D
