Hello all,

Does anyone know if or when TC is going to bring out the G2 in stainless? and I have read a few post that make it sound like the old contender barrels and the G2 barrels are not quite a 100% match is this so?

When I called a year ago they told me early in 2005. When I called last week they told me in 2006 or 2007.

I had to stone some of the lugs on a couple of my older barrels to make them fit/work. While time consuming this is not restricted to G-2s. It is not uncommon to have to fit barrels to frames from time to time. It does seem to have to be done more frequently with old barrels and G-2 frames.

I wish they made stainless G-2 frames as well. I wasn't willing to wait, so I guess I will have to add to the fleet when SS frames finally come out.

EA Brown offers a French gray finish on T/C products or just about any other guns. I don't have any first-hand experience with it, but I've always been tempted to send my frame in. I'm worried it might void T/C's excellent warranty, though. I'm sure I'll pick up a stainless G2 when they come out.

If Pachnayr does that I will sell my last original frame and get another
G-2!
