Tightening action screws on synthetic MK2

I recently purchased a MK2 25-06 SS synthetic stocked rifle. I have now fired 60 rounds, cleaning at 20 ,40, and 60 rounds. I also had a Timney trigger installed. So far I am not impressed, but realize there are many variables. What sequence are the screws tightened?  Anyone free float the barrel on the synthetic stock? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Your Ruger instruction manual gives you a sequence for tightening the action screws.  Myself I tighten the front one as tight as I can and then tighten the back and the center I just snug.

Hey like2shoot let me know how this thing ends up shooting been thinking about buying one just like it (same caliber also). I have a all weather mkII in a 243(old style skinny stock) I tried for years to make shoot less than an inch after about 6 years of trying I finally got it down to about half inch with 85 grainers the other part of the story is I started out trying 100 grainers and they would not shoot that good (the worst of all bullets tried), just for kicks (about three weeks ago) I tried the 100's again and guess what half inch at a hundred don't know what changed but it was for the better. I did float the barrel I did this with a business card folded and laid in stock right behind the forward screw, this is on the frame not the barrel the all weather stock is hollow out all the way to end except for the last 3/4". Just keep shooting and trying different things also try some jb bore paste I use it and it works thats what I think made a difference.

I am just repeating what I have read.  Many guys say that it may 100-200 rounds to get the barrel broke in.  I have read this alot of the 25.06.
