Encore 15 inch in 30-06

Just curious,
Anyone fired the Encore in 30-06 (15 inch barrel) ?
How is the "felt" or perceived recoil compared to a
heavy 44 mag load ? less or more ?

I had one and the recoil was more noticeable than the heavy 44 MAG load. But not bad in my opinion.  :D

I have one and the recoil is worse than the 44 due to the concussion wave that cknight98 is talking about.  You can download to a 30-30 level and have a lot of fun.

It is not intolerable.   The best way I shoot is to rest it on the sandbag with my offhand finger touching the top of the scope just barely.  If you use a death grip on it you are in for trouble.  I imagine a break on the barrel would be nice.  I can shoot about 15-20 times before I am looking for something else to shoot for a while.

Is there really that much of difference going from the 30-06 to 30-30 ?
