1943 Springfield Armory M1 Garand?
« on: May 15, 2005, 05:34:49 PM »
Hi...Long time lurker, first time poster...

I've been looking for a real Garand to add to the Collection.  What do you think this one is worth?  Looks like the reserve is $1000.
http://www.warrifles-auctions.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.pl?category=m1garands&item=1116513223

Anyone know anything about this auction site?  Supposed to be a no fee site.  Must be owned by a rich guy or something.

Any help would be appreciated.  All my Garands are new production commercial SAs and I'd like to start getting some REAL ones.

thanks

sam

Almost all Garands that are WW-II era that are clean and correct
will sell for $1000.00  from what i have seen..

The WarRifles site is a small site and is run by a gun distributar .. while the auctions is free its is a new service that was just set up  so it may not be free in the future depends how much traffic it draws..
