RWS Diana 34 in .177 --- Accuracy potential?
« on: May 22, 2005, 05:02:17 PM »
What kind of accuracy can I expect from this rifle? Say 5 shot groups, off a rest, using a decent scope and quality pellets, at 10 yards? At 25 yards? What is the maximum range for "accurate" shooting? (Paper punching, not hunting/killing power.)
Thanks for any insights!
Act the way you would like to be, and soon you will be the way you act.

While the RWS M34 isn't a "target rifle", as a sporting rifle most all of RWS's better models will shoot dime size groups or less at 10 yards and nickel size or less at 25 yards.  A good target pellet rifle will have a C-T-C rating of about 0.03" at 10 meters.  Which pellet would work best is up to the rifle.  Usually Beeman H&N Targets are an excellent choice for target work.  Lawdog
