Cast bullets in the 1895 GS...size????
« on: May 25, 2005, 08:02:27 AM »
Since I am too lazy to slug the barrel on my 1895 GS, I was wondering if you folks shooting cast in your 1895's could let me know what size is working best for you.  Right now, .458 jhp's shoot better out of the rifle than I do....

I've had excellent results using Cast Performance's .459" 405 grain WLNGC out of all 3 of my 1895's...2  stainless guide guns...1 ported...1 unported...and out of my 26" Cowboy...
