Picked up a box of Hornady 250gr bullets at yard sale.They are .454 dia.Anyone have a clue what year Hornady stopped making this size,and went to .452? Thanks in advance for any info..

I recall buying relatively fresh boxes of Hornady 250 grain jacketed .454" bullets for the .45 Colt in the early 1970's.  Call it 30-35 years ago, eh?
