Just getting back to fly rod country after a 20 yrs.  bought a nice rod with a cheesy plastic but.  Need to saw it off and mount a proper piece of iron and wood.  Years ago when I was a pup, Reed tackle on Rt 46 in New Jersey sold all the stuff needed to build rods, tie flys (capes, necks, tails etc) and rig spinners and jigs.  long gone and dead.  anyone have a current vendor of all that stuff?  JB

Go look at www.rodbuilding.org. There is a huge list of sponsors with all the information and products that you could ask for. I like schneiders and bingham, but have used several from the list.
