Redington Rig
« on: July 26, 2006, 12:59:18 PM »
What's your input on Redington products?  I'am looking at buying a new rod/reel and case (all Redington) for $70 from a friend.  It's an 8' 5/6 # rod but I'm not sure what reel he has with it.  He claims it's all new never been used.
I fly fished about 20 years ago and am just now wanting to get back into it but is Redington a good brand to go with?  I wouild consider myself a beginner with a little experience.
I will be fishing for local trout (12"-18" average) on local rivers and lakes.

Your imput/advice is appreciated.

You won't be sorry with a Redington outfitt.  I have 2 different Redington rods and reels and I love them.  I recently broke one of the tips and Redington replaced it for free.
