starting a gun club-advice?

I live in a remote part of Mn. and it's been getting a lot harder to go to a gravel pit and shoot; so a bunch of us are looking at starting a gun club and would like your input. Is the nra able to help in anyway? thanks for your time.

Contact the NRA. I believe they can help get insurance for the range. The single most important ideal to keep in a gun club is it's for every member, not just the different match groups. Every member has to share the range. Having a dedicated pistol/rimfire/shotgun range and a dedicated rifle range helps. Our club has this setup and it helps since weekends is the time for the matches. You can stagger when you have the ranges tied up.
