that was the prob w/ the POS tasco rings, I did'nt even get to shoot, the scope would fall off in my hands w/ minimal side pressure. I bought what I thought were high quality rings to hopefully eliminate that prob, and it did, w/ a few taps ( wacks) of a hammer on the front of the reciever groove. The 'range' is my back yard, so that is'nt an issue. Iron sights arn't an option unless I buy new, the rear sight worm gear is stripped, and moves too easily, that is why i scoped it in the 1st place. the 1st group at 25 yds was <3/8 " 8-9"low and right.
