My duty Glock is a G18. It is of course full size, therefore harder to hide, but I have other pistols for that. It requires practice to be effective, but on select fire it is very controllable with 3-5 round bursts, and even 17 round mag dumps at less than 7 yards. It isn't that hard to do, it just requires a consistant stance and grip, as there is NO watching the front sight as it cycles.
