New leather

Well, went and done it.  Seems that there is nothing wrong with my current orginial rig so I ordered another one. :wink:

This one will be two strong side holsters as I want to give that a try.  Never had a problem with the cross-draw "dance" but I don't remember Roy or Gene or the Duke doing cross-draw.  Plus I have some extra $$ that is burning a hole in my pocket.

Using one of the members of our club who has his own leather company.  He's a great guy, ex-Marine (that's OK, though I'm an Army Ranger) and he does good work.  Made my brother's last rig and liked what I saw.  

Let you know how it works out.  Should have it in a month to 6 weeks.  Not in a hurry so it will probably come in on time.

Funny, I just had Dirty Foot make me three (left and right strongsides and one crossdraw) new holsters for my new 7 1/2" barrel AWAs. The long barrels stuck out the ends of my old holsters. Got three cause I wanna try gunfighter!

And you're right, he does purty work!!!!

But, but, but Tom Selleck intentionally had his 7 1/2 sticking out of a 5 1/2 holster.

..and here I thought that movie was patterned after your life.  Guess I live and learn.

Still working on the Mrs. to go to that match but don't look good right now.  She's off to I-tile-ya with a group of church-going singers.  Guess I know where my raise has gone (Iffn I get one this year.)
