are the forend spacer the same on sb1 and sb2. wot parts are compatable.

All parts are the same and interchangeable except the iron (SB1) or steel(SB2) the recievers are made of, if you are speaking of the rifle SB2 reciever and not the 10 gauge shotgun SB2 reciever, thats a different story. So yes, the forearm spacers are interchangeable. There are however at least 3 different thinkness's used for proper forearm fitting, but the difference is only a few thousandt's or so so they can be fitted (or switched) if there is a problem....<><.... :grin:

i hae a buff classic, so if i got the thickest forend spacer would it be easy to fit i always like to have a few spares.bit hard when you live in australia thanks.

Bernie, you can make a forend fit tighter and therefore stiffen the action by adding a shim between the spacer and forend. I use aluminum furnace tape, when trimmed to fit, it can't be seen and is .004" thick with the backing removing, it makes a loose fitting forend snug and you can use multiple pieces if one doesn't help. You can also flat sand a spacer thinner if needed, but I've only had to do that once, so it's probably not likely to happen much.

just tride it out on my shikari ,the spacer was a little sloppy presto its fixed thanks tim bernie.
