Seems to be a lot of talk about the best shooters. Digger thinks the 60+ (years old) crowd were pretty good. I must admit they are darn good. DJ and I had quite a different problem. After a few dozen hits with no misses, our Pdogs started giving up. DJ wanted to blast them anyway, but I reminded her of the Geneva Convention, so we started taking prisoners. Besides I whispered to DJ that we only had about a 1000 rounds of ammo left. You would have thought DJ was SGT York, the way she had them lined up with their little paws reaching the sky. We marched them all into the back of the pickup. I counted 1,402 P.D.S. & B.S.S. (Prairie Dog Shoot and BS Social), but DJ counted 1,404. Anyway, we realized that we had another problem, keeping the little buggers quiet, the trip back home and all that yipping. DJ got so fed up at one point in Tennessee that she was going to release them there, but I got them quieted down. This still left us the problem of what to do with them. DJ got this great idea; we have this acquaintance that we donÂ’t like very much. Lisa has a farm a few miles from us in Virginia, so we released them there. I figure in a couple years we may have P.D.S. & B.S.S. in Virginia.
