Yesterday evening one of my neighbors(older couple down the road) called to ask for my help. After arriving at their place I found that their problem was they had found their dog dead out by their wood shed. Couldnt find any marks on the dog except that the dog had a large egg size knot behind its right ear. Checking around the shed I found the culprit. In a hole under an oak tree there was a large
Timber Rattlesnake. Killed it and it measured 52 1/4 with 9 rattles to where they had broken off. Looking around some more disclosed 7 more
buzztails ranging from 31 to 56. These 8 bring this years total to 30 Rattlesnakes killed. Looks like its going to be a banner year for
buzztails so watch where you step when outside. Reason for posting this her is I usually use one of my Crosman 1377s to kill snakes. Lawdog
