My new Encore

So, with a Contender in the 7-30 and .223 I wanted a 'little more'.    I just got my  Encore and the 15" 7-08 and the 15" 22-250. They match the components of my contender, (neat eh?).  I was worried about the trigger, as I like the feel of my contender and had heard the Encore may need a trigger job. I guess I must be lucky because after fifty rounds of reloads I couldn't be happier! Crisp yet smooth out of the box, what more do you want? Did i mention the 1.5 inch group? I know that doesn't sound that great but for a first load, windy conditions, hood of my truck shooting, it isn't too bad. I have enjoyed everyone's posts on this site, that is a big way I learn about the 'real world' of these great guns. Thanks to you all.

If you deside you need a trigger job Mike Bellum sells trigger springs. I bought 2 of them that were suposed to be 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. I put them in myself one is abt. 6 oz. the other 8 to 10 oz. He does say that they can very alot depending on the frame. I don`t know how they run, but I like lite triggers and am very happy that mine came in under weight.
