I am looking for a review on the Ruger Trap Model

Saw a Ruger Trap model for sale for around 3,000 immaculate condition abot 3,000 rounds through it.

It seems like Ruger did not make many of them.  Anyone know why?

How about the straight rifling?

Are they good guns?  Anyone heard of any negitaves.

Is it worth pursuing?  I don't know anything about them othere than a review I read from back in 2000.  The reviewer marveled about the gun.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

i seen them first come out atthe grand american , oh they were goin to take the trap world by storm , next thing they stopped makin them , i heard they made 2500 ???? no idea for sure , all of them i seen are sellin for 300o
