I just "finished" my first custom rifle stock.
I started with a Handi Rifle in .204 Ruger, and put a custom gunstock from Gunstocks Inc, on it. After I fitted it, I started the finishing. I'm not going to type all of the steps I took. The complete story can be found here:

Now, the problem I am having is when I went from the Tung Oil finish, to the Linspeed product from Gunstocks Inc, I started getting a lot of crap in my finish. I tried to live with it, but couldn't. I sanded the Linspeed down with 2000 grit wet paper to try to get the finish smooth again. Now I don't know what to do.
Should I go back with Linspeed again? Or can I go back with another coat of Tung Oil and call it good. I wasn't really satisfied with the VERY shiny finish that the Linspeed left on the stock (Coyotes don't like shiny things), not to mention that it felt tacky to the touch even 24 hours later.
I think I want to go back over with a coat of Tung Oil, but I just wanted to make sure that it was OK to put Tung Oil over Linseed.
