Crow Magnum Pellets
« on: July 11, 2005, 02:03:36 PM »
I shoot Crow Magnum pellets in .20. After shooting a Pigeon thru the body I found the pellet. It had exited and was laying in the grass. It expanded to .415,  That isn't half bad for a pellet gun.
Go out and get yourself a Concealed Weapons License. I did. :gun4:

That is what they were designed to do and why they work so well on game.  Really deliever a lot of shock.  For hunting purposes they beat wad cutter, pointed or domed pellets.  Lawdog

I forgot to tell you guys that I do alot of tests with wet phone books. Crow magnums penetrated 497 pages of a 2 inch phone book at 5 yards, while a crossman premier pellet penetrated 1010 pages. Crow Magnum pellets seem more uniform while the Premier pellets seem to all fit in the bore differently. One will be so tight that you have force it into the chamber and the next will slide in as if too loose. I think I will stick to Beeman pellets.
