Pigeon Roost Slim sent me some samples of his bullets for me to photograph and show here  I'm not real pleased with the lighting on either of these photos but that's the best I could do today it seems.

Yeah 250-255 somewhere in that area. Guess it depends on your alloy just how much they drop out at. I've not weighted these so am not sure the exact weight of them. He sent me 50 of them half lubed and half unlubed to try. Will have to get them loaded up and try them when I can.

Well, Greybeard; I can tell ya how much they weight.  Those in the pics sans lube weigh 250gr on the nose and with the lube in they weigh 252.9gr.  The alloy is WW plus 1% extra SN.  Your thumbnail will tell you its quite soft.  Thems good pics and I hope you enjoy sending them bad boys down range!

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask how the styrene packing blocks worked out in USPO shipping.  Also, the lube is PRS lube and I hope you like it too.  It smells good.

Pigeonroost Slim I'm sure I'll enjoy sending them down range after my EMF Dakotas and the EMF Hartford 92 gets here. The styrene packing block  held up just fine in shipment. Still in good shape. Now getting them lubed ones out ain't proving easy but I'll take care of that when I get out to load them. First gotta empty some as rat now I don't have any empties to refill.

Goatlips, on the lube. That particular bullet seemed to have some impurities or something in the lube and it just so happened I had it turned to where it showed in the photos. The rest of it did look pretty much yellow but the part toward the camera doesn't look so much so. Didn't really notice it until I'd shot the images.

Sure if ya sent some along I'll photograph them and put them up like these. I'll sent ya a PM with address.

About the impurities, that just happens with my 450 when it runs out of lube and I refill with melted lube.  After tow years of use you would think the danged thing would be rid of that balsted black grease stuff Lyman puts im em to test or store or whatever.  I am stingy on the dye chips and would not be too sad to leave them out of the recipe.

:D Thanks for the welcome, glad to be here!......any of you guys ever modify your mould by welding??..then smoothing out to specs??...got this wacko idea that I can modify the mould by adding alum weld, you know, the stuff they sell at gunshows where the guy welds up an alum can?.....then honing the mould to where I want it to be...anybody try that??......now if I could get an SB mould,I wouldn't have to think of this stuff!
