If you had the chance to buy this for $350 shipped to your door would you?

Winchester APEX
50cal 1-28"
28 3/4" barrel. Fluted.
209 ignition.
Bushnell Banner Dusk to Dawn 3-9x40 CircleX reticle mounted

12-- T/C 250gr ShockWaves with sabots.
7-- 325gr T/C XTP's with sabots.
15-- 300gr Hornady XTP's with sabots.
7-- 195gr Precision Rifle's Dead Center Duplex saboted bullets.
10-- 175gr Dead Center Duplex Sabots.
12-- 250gr Precision Rifle QT's with sabots.
11-- 275gr Precision Rifle's Extreme's with sabots

The original adjustable open sights are in the box with the 50cal cleaning brush & bore mop. There is also a bore guide & 3 different tips to seat the different bullets. Powder measure, bullet starter, & capper. The allen wrenches & nipple wrench are also in the box.

It has also been tested to shoot 1.5 MOA and has only 85 rounds through it.

So would you but it?

For what reason? If it shoots 1.5 MOA I can't think it can much better.

Just don't care for the quality. If I'm going to spend 350 on a gun, I'll buy one that's better made with a better warranty. I've had issues with BPI guns and products before.

I would think for $350, you could get a new T/C or Knight, both really high quality. Jack.

for about $100-$150 more you could get a new encore. and be better off.
Just a hint if you do buy it as a handgun then you can make it in to a rifle or a 15 inch handgun m/z

I will never buy another CVA/BPI product. They're crap, and the company doesn't care about you're problems.

Nope, wouldn't do it.Learned my lesson first time with
CVA products.Too many other quality guns for less
money available.I wouldn't be lured by the "extras"
either.Also 1.5 MOA is nothing exceptional,my $170
sidekick shoots better than that at 100 yrds.

used??? absolutely not..

i would not purchase a winchester apex for any amount of money, for the same reasons listed above, and many other threads dealing with the problems.

bass pro shops had disc elites, 45 cal on clearance for something like $249.99 a few weeks ago.  far better choice.

or add $100 to it and get an omega.

or spend $200 on the entry level knight... ton of options, all for not much more or far less, for better guns.

After buying Numerous guns a deal like this would really make me wonder why they are selling it?? With all them bullets I really wonder if it shoots 1.5 as it evidently looks like they were looking for a accurate bullet. Looks to me like the gun is not a shooter and they are trying to dump it. Could be they may have decided muzzle loading was not for them but I still would be cautious and I would pass they want to much anyway.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

After reading the post a second time, with all those bullets listed. It sounds like they tried a lot of different bullets and could not get it to shoot well.  Save you money and get a new muzzleloader, Encore come to my mind.  :D

I would never own a CVA. Your money would be better spent on a T/C or Knight.
