I was wondering where to get an LBT barrel lapping kit for 30/30 micro-groove barrels? How much do they cost? Will it take the edge off the rifling? How does it work?

Is one brand of bullet any better then the other? Laser or Mangus?
Are gas checks necessary?

The LBT lap kit will not remove or take the edge off the rifling, but will improve almost any rifled barrel, whether used for jacketed or cast.

I read the advertisment on Graybeard. It is hard to believe that any abrasive that can make a barrel more uniform wouldn't shorten the life or decrease the accuracy of a barrel.

So I guess this method isn't any different than the others. I have read where lapping smooth up it up for better accuracy.
