Valmet or Tikka with Double Triggers
« on: July 27, 2005, 01:36:14 PM »
Has anyone seen or better yet shot a Valmet or Tikka with double triggers?  If so how is the trigger pull?

Thanks,
Doug

Every Valmet 412 that came into my shop was single trigger, and i installed double triggers "if" the costomer wanted them.  (and a lot did)

Personally, i don't like a single trigger, so my 412 has had double triggers almost from the day it came in.

As for trigger pull, i don't know the pull, but it's a "hunting" trigger, not a target gun trigger, so i'll rate it decent but not excelent.

  Hope this helps,

Was adding a double a difficult or tricky task on the Valmet?

Not at all, i use to do them quite fast.  Don't ask me for directions though, i haven't done one for quite a few years now!!

"If" i remember right i "think" it was an $55.00 option?

Now, going from double triggers to single is a HUGE PITA!!!  Only did it once, and hated every minute of it!!

Hey Drilling,
make this easy on me...  Give me one of your double trigger guns (12 ga and 30-06) and a set of 12 ga barrels.   :-D  :)  :D

Thanks,
Doug

The "easiest" i can make it on you at this time is, to "sell" you a set of 12 ga bbls....  How's that????
