Bet you guys cant guess what I'll vote for... 308 all the way. 308's arc with a Hornady 178 grain bullet zeroed at 200 yards is 19.8 in. low at 400 yards.. rainbow like arc? 270 can't do that. P.S. the velocity of that load is a bit over 3000 fps and 3426 foot pounds. Ballistics from 2002 shooters bible.
