.22 Mag Ultra

I have decided that I need to add one to the locker.  Reading back through the threads, it seems they are somewhat scarce.  Is this true?    I'll be running around this weekend.  If I should see one on the shelf somewhere, would I be well advised to pick it up?

I want one and can't find one.  Maybe my local walmart will eventually be able to get me one.  If anyone near eastern Kentucky knows where one is at I would appreciate if you would share this with me.  I don't think they have any particular value to them, and don't know why they're hard to find.

I checked with my local Walmart just yesterday and their supplier is still out of them.  Just out of curiosity I had the guy check on the 22 Mag sporters (I think that is what they are called) and they have plenty of them.

Sports South is WM's supplier, you can check their inventory...they have the 22mag Sportster in stock today, but the Ultra still isn't. Like I said in another thread, the only way to get one thru WM, is to check inventory daily and high tail it to WM when one shows up at SS, it's worked before for those wanting a BC!!

Quick, Thanks for the info.  I printed the page and checked Sport South this evening ... still not in stock.

Jack19512 - I'll keep a lookout for you as well.  Don't know how you feel about having one transfered, but I'll keep you posted all the same.  By the way, if you should come across a 7X57 or 35 Whelen Handi down there in eastern Kintuck, I would be very appreciative if you would let me know.  That is, of course, if you should not want one.
