a walk trough the deer woods
« on: September 07, 2005, 01:50:03 PM »
I took a walk trough the deer woods on the farm I hunt on.
The farmer has planted corn in several places along the road so I have about 400 feet of corn before I get to the woods and they run about 1/4 mile long.

I went in the woods and found about 20 scrapes all over the place but they are close to the wood line, the further I get in the woods the disappear, I found maybe a thousand  deer piles all over the place so I know I have quite a few deer around me, now all I have to do is see one close enough to shoot.

I put my camera in frond of the biggest scrape to see if anything comes back.

I thought it would be to early to find so many scrapes, every one of themhad a branch over it so I am sure they are from a deer
