TSX 53gr. loads for a 22-250
« on: July 13, 2005, 07:18:06 AM »
I have tried to work up a load in the past but hadn't had any luck.
I guess that I could go back and try some more, but I was just wondering if any of you had some info.
The smallest group that I achieved was between 1" to 1-1/4".  I was looking to get the group a little tighter.

A little more information would have been helpful.  Such as, firearm, load data, cartridge measurement, shooting style and conditions.

Now, that being said, I have never found any Barnes bullet to be the most accurate in any of the loads I have worked-up.

For .22-250, in the 52 grain to 53 grain range, either of the Sierra bullets out-performed anything else I tried.
