I called the factory today to check and see if I could get a .30-06 ultracomp put on my gun...guess i missed out

she said all they had left were the .270's :cry:

:shock: ...If your wanting a Ultra-Comp...go for the 270...they shoot pretty good too...I bought youngbdv's like new 270 UC barrel...and am waiting to go shoot it...picked up some Federal Fusion ammo for it as well...Granted...it's not a 06...but...it's still a 270 :agree: :oh: :yeah:

Hopefully you can probably find one later down the road. The 270 UltraComp is a great barrel as well, my brother has one. You might want to think about the 270 while they still have those..

how do i go about claiming one of those 270 uc.....i want to make sure my names on one before they are all gone...i don;t even have my rifle back yet it was getting sent from the factory to me today....can i call and pay for it or something to claim it?

and how long does it take to get tyhe coupon and will i miss out on the barrel waiting for the coupon?

i talked to jennifer....she was going to stop the shipping of my gun until i can decide whether i want it or not......i gotta talk my gf into getting it for me for a present which shouldn;t be to difficult.....if i decide not to i will call her back and have her ship my 223 and 308......jennifer also told me that she could not offer the discount on the 270 uc....oh well

well i ended up and held the shipment...then called jennifer back and ordered the 270 uc myself....i think i have caught the bug..hard......i bought the 223 varimeter ultra...sent it back to get the reciever and barrel straightened out because it was wearing a little more than i liked on the right side...they fixed that..so i figured ah heck as long as it's there put the 308 heavy on it..so they did..then i read all about these ultra comps and how there becoming scarce and right before shipment i called jennifer and held it and told her to put the .270 on it...now i seriously have to calm down a little :-D

Thanks quick..I didn't know for sure. I don't have any cupons now after I sent mine to get fitted back 2 months or so.
