Kynoch has recently reintroduced the 577/450 in loaded ammunition. They have also reintroduced a lot of the old calibers that they use to supply.
http://freespace.virgin.net/kynoch.ammunition/contents.htmI dropped them an email asked them if they would sell me unfired brass. They did. This is top quality brass and cheaper than Bertram.
I sent them a follow up message thanking them for their quality product. I also when they were going to produce .310 cadet ammo and brass.
I got the following message in reply.

Dear Douglas
Yes we can make 310 cadet for you, but the question is how many would you
like. Our problem is always volume.
Regards David Little
I sent the following response.
David,
Thank you for your response. Yes I do understand the problem you have with
getting enough volume to justify the set up expense. It is something those
of us who shoot the 577/450 and .310 Martini's have been faced with for
years.
The lack of ammunition and reloadable brass has resulted in the destruction
of more than one of these wonderful old guns.
I can assure there is a market for these two cartridges, a market that you
can provide a service to by making 577/450 and .310 ammunition and brass
available for.
May I suggest that you visit two websites and explore a potential market for
production of the two calibers? The two websites are the most active that
I have found on these two Martini rifles. You will get the best feed back
from the folks on these sites.
The websites are The Martini-Henry Forum at
http://www.britishguns.net/cgi-bin/forums/enfield.pl? and the British
Militaria website at http://pub182.ezboard.com/bbritishmilitariaforums
Post a query on these boards asking about the market for .310 and 577/450
ammo and brass. I think you might be surprised at the response. These boards
have a world wide base.
I would also recommend that you contact the following U.S. distributors about
the calls they get for and potential market of both .310 and 577/450
ammunition and brass. These are the premier suppliers of reloading component
suppliers in the U.S. They are the premier suppliers and not the premium suppliers.
They have the major market share of the reloading market in the U.S. I
think again you will be surprised at the response that you get.
Graf and Sons http://www.grafs.com/
Huntington's http://www.huntingtons.com/
Midway USA http://www.midwayusa.com/
Buffalo Arms http://www.buffaloarms.com/
Buffalo Arms currently supplies a modified 32/20 brass for use in the .310.
I think David if you follow through with this research you will be
pleasantly surprised at the response you get.
