has anyone had any experience with the lyman 457658 original schmitter mould. i see on buffalo arms that they cast this bullet up and it casts at .459 and 500grns
.anyone no what the diameter of the nose is thanks.

Lyman also offers the bullet cast from soft lead, perhaps Lyman #2 alloy am not sure. I've shot theirs and the ones I cast both in my Browning BPCR and they are a super accurate bullet. My favorite really.
