some basic fur questions
« on: July 21, 2005, 12:41:27 PM »
Is there somewhere on-line to find regional fur prices?  I used to get the Trapper and Predator Caller and enjoyed watching the price trends in it.  Haven't ever had a fur to sell but you never know when that first one will come along?

Also, do furs have to be skinned cased (I think that is the same thing as in the round, isn't it) to be salable or can they be open?

Sorry for the kindergarten fur questions.

You might do better asking on the Trapping Forum.

The best place I have found online is Fur harvesters Auction Inc.(http://www.furharvesters.com/).  Go to the Trappers/Ranchers section and click on the Sales Results, then on either U.S Dollars or Canadian Dollars.  Hope this helps.  Lawdog
