Pros - Cons to Leupold's VARXIII 6.5X20 Var

Should work well. I like the looks of the Varmint reticle and think I'd like to try it also. I know I'm wanting to try the side focus, something I used to think was a silly option. Now I'm rethinking it. Dunno if the 6.5-20 really has any advantages over the 4.5-14 power range tho.

It's been my experience that much over 14x to 16x is getting to be too much on hot days due to mirage. And when it's cool enough to use the higher maginifications it's too dark to use them. I'm beginning to think a 4-16 is about perfect.
