Check out the link below (about 3/4 down in URL). Someone mentions that Remington for a short time made model 700 receivers that were castings and were an 'F' series designation in the serial number. Can anyone confirm this? I would thinking of buying a cheap Academy Sports ADL for a custom build and use the action...If it's MIM, I won't bother. Any info appreciated...
