Would like ask you guys this. Which bullet would you use for deer size game. I'll be usin a 25-06 , 243 and 30-30 in a single-shot. Thanks

I would use the bonded bullets for the 243 and 25-06, and the conventional bullet for the 30-30. I think I'd get better bullet performance at close ranges with the bonded bullet if I needed to take a close shot.

Of the two bullets you mentioned, I would pick the Accubond. The SST is a lightly constructed bullet like the ballistic tip and even on deer size game can be unpredictable.---Regards-----vernonp

Wrong comparison. SST vs. BT and Accubond vs. Interbond is the proper comparison.

Using a bonded bullet on such game is never a bad idea but the SST and BT are fine deer bullets. The smaller the caliber the tougher the bullet should be in my opinion tho. For a .25-06 a 115 or 120 SST or BT would do fine or a 110 Accubond or even a 100 PT. and so on with the .243.

Of the test's I've done the SST holds up just as well as the Accubond.
Of more importance is that you put it in the right place! :wink:
