Thought they had deleted it at first, when it was not at the old location.  What's up with the move?

Sourdough: About 6 months or so Grarbeard moved all "area specific" forums to one heading, and all "species specific" forums to another heading.

Were here although I have been prospecting, fishing, shrimping and building a deck.  Three weeks till school starts so I am out again tomorrow prospecting for gold.

No Dave this whole group got moved.  They used to be behind the one with Bear Hunting in it.  Now we fall behind another group.  In other words we are getting closer to the end of the forums.  We're loosing ground.  Ha,Ha,Ha,!!!  And it just happened this week.

They didn't do nuttin but the old Graybearded one did.  :eek:

From time to time I reorganize the arrangement of sections in the Forums Index. The sections that get little to no traffic tend to get dropped lower and the sections with more use get moved up. Those with paying sponsors also tend to get higher on the list as compared to those without.

The latest reorganization moved the CAS section DOWN as it is nearly dead and has no paying sponsor any longer. I moved the section with the Optics Discussion up since at this time Jon of The Optic Zone is really about the largest money contributor on the site. Just did it to help get that forum seen a bit more often for a major money contributor to the site.

I think I may have dropped another or two down in the process but mostly it was moving up that one section and the CAS section down that changed.

I just got lost for a moment.  I knew Alaska was before the Product Discussion group with ATVs and I kept trying to find it before them.  Finally looked lower and there they were.  You know how some old dogs are, change things around and we get confussed.  But we can hunt and find it.  By the way Graybeard, when are you going to take a vacation and come to Alaska?  Everyone needs to come up here at least once.  Rog

I'd love to Rog, just as I'd love to go to Africa. But being honest with myself I doubt either will ever happen. My health is not good and my finances aren't up to such a trip to either place. So unless one of the manufacturer's one day decide to invite me rather than a magazine writer off on one of those free trips it's not likely to happen. Even then my limited mobility would be a major problem.
