Any .50AE shooters?  I have one in the big AMT auto that will shoot one ragged cluster, with Speer ammo, from a wrist rest at 25yds.  The ammo pushes a 325gr bullet at over 1500fps for over 1500 ft lbs energy!
I am, therefore, I think.

You can count me as .50 AE's lover  :)   I own a Desert Eagle in this caliber and late on April I'll receive my new toy from Freedom Arms in this caliber.  With the FA will be able out a 7.5" barrel to push a 355 gr bullet and havier bullets over 1550 fps.

As .500/.501 fan, I have the project to get a SA in .500 S&W Mag build by David Clements.  I can't tell you more about it about velocity now with this gun but it will be a hard kicker :-D

for some stupid reason companies make it difficult to handload and shoot 50 ae
no carbide dies,must use lubricant
bullets $10 per 50
brass $30 per hundred
I STILL DONT MIND CONSIDERING MOST LOADS COST ME ABOUT 15 CENTS
this makes the 50 ae loads at 35 cents each a lot easier to take
$35 per hundred to shoot, but they do make a nice bear hunter:)
