took my ultra varmint out for the second time yesterday. the first time I used the Tubb's Final Finish on it. Don't know if it helped the accuracy but the barrel doesn't foul as bad as it did and cleans easier. So far I get 1.2 inch 5 shot groups with almost everything. 3 shot groups go from 1/2 inch to 1 inch. It seems to like Reloader 7 with either 50 gr. V-Max or Speer TNT bullets. Winchester white box is average but the UMC value pack 45 gr. do well. So far I am really happy. I bought the gun at Mid America Arms in St. Louis, They are very good to deal with for anybody in the area.

Sounds like a shooter. I have yet to try those 45gr UMC yet. The WWB 45gr JHP seem to do the best in most Handi 223's with the exception of a rare few, but I rarely hear many people talk about the 45gr UMC's though.
Still a few rounds out there I need to try out....

I haven't tryed the 45 gr. UMC but i have tryed the 55 gr. They did almost as well as the WWB. I still wanna try some of the Natec.....just haven't got around to it.
