GunStock Inc ?

What is the functional purpose of this ?

I went to their site but couldn't find it. If it's like the original "BIG SHOT" grip it was designed to give a 2 handed hold on the gun. I had one but it was uncomfortable to ME. The guy that bought it still loves it! I should'a charged him more$$.
