Remington is marketing these Russian made doubles in .30-06 and .45-70. Anyone try one yet? I find it hard to believe the barrels are regulated at the price they are asking. Usually takes about 10 times the money to get them both shooting to the same spot.

Havent seen the rifles yet, however saw a 28 and a 20 ga. at the gunshow in hot springs Ar.  Not a bad looking double, I really didnt pay any attention to the price as I am not into shotguns anymore. :D    JIM

Haven't shot one yet but I did get to look one, .30-06, over at a sporting goods store in Sacramento.  The action was stiff and the finish wasn't anything to brag about.  The wood to metal fit could be much better but for what they are asking I guess it may be a good buy.  Lawdog
