Wow i came across this last night from rental rreamers a 257 on the 300 ultramag case talk about alot of powder in a tiny hole.But if the barrel would last 500 to 800 rounds it would be a lifetime of hunting after load development.
Anybody heard or used this round?
Would it be that much faster then a 257 stw?my quess is probabely not that much maybe 100fps maybe.
Any info would be appreciated.

Why not just get a 7mm UltraMag?

Always liked something diferent....
Had a ruger #1 7mm mag rechambered 8 years ago to the 404 jeffery necked down to 7mm and blowen out with a 25 degree shoulder and used it for 2 moose and 2 deer,then Remington came out with exactley the same thing 7mm ultramag big deal i had mine way before they even thought it up.
Wildcats are great.

sounds like the 6.53 lazzeroni screamjet
85 gr at 4,000 per sec
100 gr at 3,700 per sec
120 gr at 3,550 per sec
