My dad just read this book and RAVED about it.  I plan on reading it as well.  He told me a little about it and I'm definitely looking forward to it.

This is a fantastic book. I especially appreciated the way the community rallied around the family. This is a must read book.

Guess I never posted back after reading it.  It was an excellent book and a quick read because I couldn't put it down.  I've always had great respect for and honored our service men.  This book helps reinforce that respect though with what he and those men went through.  I thank God for the freedoms we enjoy because of men and women who are willing to defend it.

If you haven't read this book, I highly recommend it.  Several of my friends have read it after me and we've all had the same reaction.

Excellent book.  Read it over the winter.  Should be required reading at 1600 PA Ave..  Luttrell was in the news this past year.  Some punks killed his dog for kicks.  He cought them, but let the police handle it.  Lucky punks....
