12 gauge to centerfire pistol caliber adapter?
« on: January 30, 2005, 02:16:45 PM »
I have seen these things a few times before.  Has anyone ever tried one in their Pardner? I have a buddy who has one of the gauge reducers so he can shoot 410 shells in his 16 gauge and it works great.

But it's only 3" long which leaves you with what about an inch of rifled barrel that is assuming that the contraption is rifled?  I guessl my concern is how are the bullets stabilized?

Sounds like the bullet will be as accurate as a round coming out of a 2" barrel as long as that little adapter is rifled...That is as long as it does not come in contact with the shotgun barrel before it leaves the entire length of the shotgun's barrel.

What would this be useful for? I'm guessing it would give about the same accuracy as a derringer. Then again it's only $21.00. I'm sure someone will give it a try and review it.

This is interesting. Can anyone throw me a link for these adapters?

Google let me down.
