Anyone have one of these mounted on their handi? I just ordered one from the optic zone with the Zeiss high mounts. Will the hammer have any problem clearing the lens with the high mount?

I don't have it mounted on a Handi yet...but I do have the Tacticle mounted on my Beeman R-11 airgun...it's a great scope for the money...I got my from the Jon & Tammey at the Optic Zone(they are great to do buisness with)...soon as I get the 270 Ultra-Comp barrel fixed that I recently bought...I'll thinking on trying it out on it... I just love those  illuminated mil-dots...

I have the 4-16x50IGR Sport Dot mounted on my .243 Ultra Varmint and the 8.5-25x50IGR Eraticator mounted on my .204 Ruger Handi, both in medium Burris Signature Zee rings.....Hammer clearance depends on how the scope needs to be positioned for your anatomy, for me, it works great with the power ring just ahead of the hammer.

rbjaw, you might think so, but that's not always true, due to the high mount position of the scope rail, there's plenty of room for clearance of the objective bell, but not at the hammer, power ring/ocular bell, it just depends on the positioning and size of the ocular bell/power ring. Most Handi/Ultra owners have to use high rings.

a rifle scope on a air rifle isn't that bad for the scope?

It can be on a spring air gun, but not when the scope mfr's owner recommends the scope, as in this case.
