Ruger 99/44 Deerfield Carbine
« on: August 04, 2005, 01:41:36 PM »
I recently got a Ruger Deerfield Carbine. Really like the size, and feel of it. It is lightweight, and easy to carry for hours. Mounted a Leupold fixed four power scope on it, and with my own handloads, Hornady 265 grain FP, Win. 296, 22 grains, makes a good hunting round. The only complaint is that the action rattles, and makes noise when moving the rifle around. Is this common for these rifles?

The op rods on Mini-14's are pretty rattley too.
