Burris Signature

I am looking at a used Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless/Synthetic in 300WSM. It has a Burris Signature 2.5-10x44 scope mounted on it. This does not appear to be a current offering. I know the current "Signature Select" line is a good scope; am I safe to assume that this "Signature" model is of comparable quality/value? I am trying to determine if the asking price of $825 for the gun/scope is a good deal. I figure the gun to worth about $550-600 on its own with the rings.

I have a Burris Signature 1.5x6 and it's a great scope. IMO as good as a Vari X III Leupold. As for what it's worth used I can't say.
